Social services for persons and children affected by violence and victims of trafficking in a specialized setting – Crisis Center

The Crisis Center provides specialized support and a safe environment for women and children affected by violence, as well as for victims of trafficking.

Main services:

  • accommodation for up to 6 months for women and children affected by violence;
  • psychosocial counseling;
  • legal counseling under the Protection from Domestic Violence Act (PDVA);
  • group programs;
  • assistance in finding employment and accommodation;
  • ensuring access to education for school-age children;
  • assistance with enrolling younger children in kindergarten.

Advance registration:
Advance registration is not required. Due to the Crisis Center's consistently full capacity, it is advisable to check in advance at the provided contact telephone number whether there are any available places.

Accommodation of children:
Children over 10 years of age may be accommodated independently when referred by the Social Assistance Directorate. When children are accompanied by their mother, there is no age restriction.
